Christ Church St. Andrews approached us given our locality in Herne Bay with the exciting prospect of rebranding two churches within the area, under the one name.
A new strapline had already been formed; Glorifying God : Building Community, so it made sense to work from this and create a new identity that represented both of these elements. A new symbol was chosen that incorporated the iconic symbol of church and god, the cross, together with three people profile silhouette's ; child; female adult; and male adult – representing building community.
A fresh and bold new colour palette of Canary Yellow with Navy Blue was chosen to differentiate from other churches in the vicinity using blue as their core palette.
The new identity is being rolled out internally across communications from service screen presentations to external signage. A rewarding project where design has the potential to assist in helping peoples lives and happiness.
